Special Edition: Phillie of the Week "VUKE"

I know I was supposed to focus on the Phillie pitching staff this week, but other than Cole Hamels (YUM) I don't really care about Pitchers (Belly Itchers).

So it seemed appropriate when I heard the news of John Vukovich's death, that he would post humously be Phillie of the Week.

Vuke, like his teammate Tug McGraw, died of a brain tumor. They won a World Series together in 1980. He coached for longer than any other coach in Phils history. It was a comfort to see him out there at Third Base. He'll be missed by the team and by the fans.
