OK - take a deep breath. Get a nice cup of tea (or coffee if you prefer). Go through your patterns. Pick one that really sparks your interest. One that you can see yourself knitting on the couch on these chilly evenings while you are surrounded by beagle love.
Now, go to the yarn store and get some yarn! No - not the Local Yarn Store! They yarn store in your home.... Sounds like you have a wonderful selection to choose from.
Now go make some phone calls to some more friends who are "on the wagon".

on Ravelry there is a site - knitters for Obama and black bunny fibers has made a beautiful hand dyed yarn called Audacity. I bought 2 skeins - not cheap, but the profits went to the campaign. You might want to check it out.
Or, you can sit on the computer - play a game or 100 games, until the feel passes.
I think you should take a fix. If you do a little hit now, that means you can go back on the wagon for March and April, and be ready to spend at Maryland Sheep and Wool. If you try to deny your craving, and wait and wait, you might make a gigantic purchase, instead of saving for MSW.
