On the way home from Rhinebeck, I decided I needed a challenge. I needed to take the blog up a notch in the knitting niche. I decided that I am going to KNIT IT ALL. By knit it all, I mean, every last skein I bought at Rhinebeck. I challenge myself to knit all of the yarn...I can't even guestimate the yardage...before Rhinebeck next year (which by the way is October 20th and 21st next year--mark your calendars!).
To start this week off, I have knitted TWO (2) projects with Rhinebeck yarn.
Project One: Fishknit Scarf from Morehouse Merino
Yarn: 1 Skein Morehouse Merino Bulky: variegated Denim Blues
Needle: Size 13
Number of hours to complete project: 4
This is the scarf after knitting: it's only 29 inches long!
But here comes the magic: you maximize the length by dropping stitches before binding off...
Voila! The finshed scarf!!
Model/Muse Molly Models (how's that for alliteration?)
The scarf was gifted to super beagle sitter and fabu social work student Erin. Thanks for everything Erin!!!

Wow, I just saw pictures of your Rhineback haul... awsome. You're going to have a blast knitting it all! (really jealouse of the STR yarn)
If you can't knit it all, you can send me some of that STR. ;-)
