Hello Knitty D Readers! Knitty D and I have had a fabulous weekend in Philly and I have reconnected with my inner knitter as Knitty introduced me to Loop and I found inspiration. I'm now working on a baby blanket for my dear friend Sara Jane and a stylish summer scarf for myself. Thanks to Craig for helping me pick out a pattern and yarn and to Martha for showing me how to knit through the back loop!
I've also reconnected with Mr. Gus. After a shaky visit to the Joy House at Christmas, Gus and I are now BFF. I'm thinking of packing him into my suitcase and taking him back to Michigan with me.
The weather here has been amazing and Knitty, Super T and I took advantage of it and did some serious people watching in Rittenhouse Sqaure yesterday. Please, whatever you do, don't wear holey leggings under a denim micro skirt - you are only asking for the ridicule. Knitty also introduced me to my new favority Philadelphian food - Three Cheese Risotto fritters at the Ten Stone! Delicious!
All and all, Knitty and I had a very fun and successful weekend (especially if we block out the lock outs).

Hello Knitty D's Sister! It was great meeting--and knitting with--you. What a lovely way to spend some time--and showing you how to knit tbl was icing on the cake. Hope to see you next time you're in town.
That is really lovely yarn that you're working with there in the first and third pictures. It's an unusual colorway - what is it?
