SPRING TRAINING!!!

It's here! Pitchers and Catchers reported to camp for "physicals and a game of golf" yesterday (not my words, heard that on the news)! Baseball is back! Glory be!

On a side note, to the city of Philadelphia...its called a snow plow and salt...do we own any? Seriously, we had all of 4 inches of snow and the streets are a disaster. How can those folks to Upstate NY get 3 feet of snow and have the roads cleared the next day and we can't manage 4 inches?
Where are my taxes going, because we sure know its not on schools...

Anyone else still watching "lost?" I'm loving it. Last nights was great. I think I have the hots for Desmond.

Okay, off to cure cancer...

Sorry I can't get as excited as you about spring training. But LOST... Still mad in love with the show. I haven't watched last night's episode but will when I get home from work.

Desmond, Jack, Sawyer, Gin - all yummy. Hurley has an inate sweetness that makes you wish you knew him.

If you could work on that snow plowing thing, before watching the baseball players play golf, that would be great. I mean, how long could it take to rally PA to plow the darned streets??!?!?!?

And WHERE are they playing this golf?

If it makes you feel any better, I am in the part of upstate NY that got three feet and the streets weren't all clear today. Although, I think we have a better excuse than Philly does.

Something is wrong when Baltimore Ave isn't plowed. Epecially when they had a damn's week notice.

What annoyed me more is Penn made me come to work, but didn't shovel the front of my lab building until last night. Locust walk wasn't done until after lunch. Thanks guys.

I think every municipality around here has forsaken their snowplows and salt trucks. Lower Merion use to be the first ones out here to clear but, geez, its like they've forgotten how to do it.
My friend, who drives nowhere in the snow, drove to Berwyn to the knitting store and said that the roads out there were pretty good but here they ain't!
Happy knitting. Happy spring training - can spring be far behind! I'm moving to Las Vegas - where it doesn't ever snow and where, even though its hot, its air conditioned.

Snow? What's that? We get ice and in Atlanta if there is anything frozen we just shut down. That's ok though - occasionally we get a day off. I like LOST - not sure how they'll keep it interesting for many seasons on end, but it's fun so far. You're right - Desmond is a cutie!
